American Jewish Congress applauds American Atheists victory in KY 'God' case

As I reported two days ago, a judge ruled that the inclusion of "Almighty God" in Kentucky law governing the state's office of Homeland Security was unconstitutional. Since that time, American Atheists (AA), who filed the lawsuit, has been applauded for its part in rectifying the situation. One of the latest congratulatory messages that AA received was from the American Jewish Congress (AJC). According to the group's Web site, "The American Jewish Congress is an association of Jewish Americans organized to defend Jewish interests at home and abroad through public policy advocacy - using diplomacy, legislation, and the courts."
