Christians offended by atheist billboards

04.08.09, Staks Rosch, for EXAMINER (US). Atheist billboards and bus ads are going up in cities across the nation and Christians aren’t happy. Recently in Fort Lauderdale, Florida a billboard went up which had the following message: “Being a good person doesn't require God. Don’t believe in God? You’re NOT alone.” INAtheistBus.org recently won the right to put up a bus ad in Bloomington, Indiana which states, “You can be good without god.” In both of these cases, Christians groups have protested strongly and these ads have been considered “controversial” by the media.
