The clash between cultures is becoming ever more obvious in headlines in the U.S. and other Western countries, such as this one about a young girl terrified of being murdered by her Muslim father because she converted to Christianity. So-called "honor" killings are not new to the shores of North America, but they are becoming increasingly frequent with the influx of immigrants from Muslim countries. While there have been murders of this type in the past, more recent horrific cases include the alleged mass murder of a Canadian family; the attacks on three women in New York, two of whom died; and the beheading of a woman by her "moderate Muslim" husband, also in New York.
